This page explains how providers and plans are ordered, scored and presented across HomeLinkd — our content and ranking policy.
Comparison tables
- Order is alphabetical. Every provider comparison table on this site lists providers alphabetically by name. Table position is never sold, and the referral fees described in our Advertising Disclosure have no effect on where a provider appears.
- “From” prices show the cheapest qualifying residential monthly price we have on file for that provider. Business plans are tracked separately and never appear in residential tables. Where we can’t state a reliable from-price, the table says “Call for pricing” instead of guessing.
- Inclusion. Tables include the providers we cover in that category (internet, TV, mobile, security). We do not cover every provider in the market; see the Advertising Disclosure for how coverage works.
- “Recommended Service” badges are editorial picks made by our team using the criteria described on this page. A badge never changes a provider’s alphabetical position in the table, and the referral relationships described in our Advertising Disclosure apply to badged and unbadged providers alike.
Editorial pages and “best” picks
Pages that recommend providers or plans (for example “best internet providers”) are written by our team using provider-published materials and our own research. Picks weigh price, advertised speeds, contract terms, equipment and installation fees, and how widely a service is available. When we research a price or plan detail, we record the source and the date we checked it.
Keeping data current
Provider plans, prices and promotions change constantly and are set by the providers, not by us. We review plan data on a recurring schedule and correct errors when we find them or when they’re pointed out. Pricing on this site is a starting point for comparison — the provider confirms the exact price for your address when you order.
Corrections
If you spot something outdated or wrong, call the main number in the footer of this page and let us know — corrections are reviewed and applied against provider-published information.
