Do you sell Verizon?

No. We compare and place service from the providers we work with, and Verizon is not one of them — which is exactly why this page exists. If Verizon turns out to be the right answer for your address, we will say so rather than talk you out of it.

Which providers are the best alternatives to Verizon?

It depends on what reaches your address, which is the whole difficulty. Where fiber is available, AT&T, CenturyLink, Frontier and Windstream are the closest like-for-like on symmetrical speed. Where it is not, Spectrum and other cable providers are the widely available fast option, and HughesNet, Viasat or Starlink cover rural addresses. Call us free and we will narrow that to the ones you can actually order.

What should I check before leaving Verizon?

Whether you are still in a term and what the cancellation fee would be, any unpaid device or equipment balance, and what equipment has to be returned and by when — unreturned equipment is the most common unexpected charge. Also note when your current promotional rate expires, because sometimes the cheapest move is renegotiating rather than switching.

How do I switch without losing service in between?

Book the new installation first and only cancel the old service once the new connection is working. Cancelling first to save a few days of overlap is what creates a gap, and with wired installations a gap can last weeks. A short overlap costs less than being offline. We can line up an install date before you cancel anything.
